Clinical Cases for MRCPCH Theory and Science PDF Free Download
We are delighted to see this new publication. In 2013 we launched the new examination focusing on
Theory & Science. In the day of Evidence-based Medicine, the science, the research, the evidence that
underpins our practice is vitally important. But how much should you know to pass our examination?
Will Carroll has brought together almost 40 different authors and created a very welcome learning
resource. It does not set out to cover every detail of paediatric Theory & Science, but provides a wide
spread of information from the baby to the child to the young person. Most helpfully, it gives our
paediatric trainees some idea of the depth of knowledge which is expected.
No one can deny the importance of Theory & Science, everyone would agree it would have to be in our
assessment strategy. We hope that you will find this a welcome aid to your learning if you are preparing
for the Membership examination or if you simply wish to advance your knowledge of the science that we
use in our everyday practice.
Congratulations and thank you to all who have contributed to this innovative new title.
